Spring has officially sprung, the clocks have jumped forward, and we’re rolling full speed into Watches & Wonders season. Buckle up! For those unfamiliar, Watches & Wonders is like the World Cup of watches. It’s the annual event where the biggest names in the game unveil their latest and most exciting releases, setting the stage for the year ahead. As I write this, rumors about a new Rolex “Land Dweller” are circulating, and like many of you, I’m eagerly awaiting April 1st to see what’s really in store. If you're heading to Geneva for the expo, be sure to come say hey—I'm always up for geeking out over watches!
March was also Women’s History Month, so it’s only fitting that I kick off a new bite-sized series spotlighting the voices shaping the intersection of luxury, watches, jewelry, and culture. First up: Rhonda Riche—a legend in the game, journalist, editor, and now author. We dive into her debut book, The Wonderful World of Women’s Watches, a deep dive into the often-overlooked side of horology.
For me, the month flew by, but not without some exciting moments! One of the biggest? My collaboration with Eljae on a limited-edition fashion watch jewelry collection. As a longtime fan of mixing timepieces with jewelry (and championing women-owned brands), this project was a dream. It’s finally out in the world—so tell me, what do you think? And let’s not forget the Horological Society of New York gala. It was one for the books! A night of horological excellence, great conversations, and unforgettable watches.
Hollywood’s finest stepped out for the Oscars earlier this month, but Cynthia Erivo’s Emerald City-inspired nails were the real scene-stealer—complete with a tiny clock detail for a little extra pizzazz. Meanwhile, stars like Victoria Monét and Raye rocked the frosted gold watches from Audemars Piguet including the mini Royal Oak, which has cemented itself as an It Girl staple since its debut last year. With the brand celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, I’m keeping an eye on how they keep the momentum going.

Swatch also teased the upcoming release of the April Pink Moon Moonswatch. At this point, I’m left wondering—how many more of these are we getting? As someone who stood in line for five days straight to snag my Mission to Mars three years ago, I’m starting to think it might be time to wrap it up. But hey, you know I’ll be watching (pun intended) to see how this continues to unfold!
That’s it for now—April is coming in hot with Watches & Wonders madness. Until next time, see you soon!
